After scoring a massive fanbase on Netflix, “You” has been greenlighted for a second season, and with some new some faces. “Haunting of Hill House” actress Victoria Pedretti has been cast as the female lead.

According to data released earlier this month by Netflix, the show’s first season is “on track to be viewed by more than 40 million members in its first four weeks” on the streamer.

Pedretti’s character, Love Quinn, is an aspiring chef who’s working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store. Unlike her predecessor, she is uninterested in the world of social media, branding, and self-promotion, focused instead on leading an interesting life. She is also tending to a deep grief — and when she meets Joe, she senses a shared knowledge of profound, life-changing loss.

On Hill House, Pedretti previously played Nell –– a sibling unfortunately connected to a family with a haunted past that taunts them in their current lives. Here character died off in Season 1, which became the highlight of the series, landing her 2018’s single best dramatic episode of TV.

Production on Season 2 begins next month and is set to premiere later this year.

For fans of John Cusack and “High Fidelity”, a visit to Championship Vinyl definitely would make a “top five” list.

The hit comedy “High Fidelity” is the story of record shop owner Rob Gordon (John Cusack) on a search for love (and the reasons behind his failed relationships) against a backdrop of over 70 songs spanning multiple decades and genres of music. With – or without – the help of his record store buddies Dick (Todd Luiso) and Barry (Jack Black’s breakout role), Rob revisits past relationships in hopes of figuring out where he has gone wrong. Released in 2000, The New York Times praised John Cusack as “a master at easygoing camaraderie.” Rotten Tomatoes has “High Fidelity” ranked #14 on the list of Best Romantic Comedies.

Now, join John Cusack for a screening of “High Fidelity” on the big screen followed by a LIVE conversation regarding his career and the making of the film. Fans will get the opportunity to experience a moderated discussion, with John answering audience questions as well. A limited number of VIP seats will be available that include a post-show photo op with John.
