After eight films that have amassed almost $5 billion worldwide, the Fast & Furious franchise now features its first stand-alone vehicle as Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprise their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Johnson), a loyal agent of America’s Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015’s Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they’ve tried to take each other down.

But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever – and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw’s sister – these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.

Hobbs & Shaw blasts open a new door in the Fast universe as it hurtles action across the globe, from Los Angeles to London and from the toxic wasteland of Chernobyl to the lush beauty of Samoa.

Directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a script by longtime Fast & Furious narrative architect Chris Morgan, the film is produced by Morgan, Johnson, Statham and Hiram Garcia. The executive producers are Kelly McCormick, Dany Garcia, Steven Chasman, Ethan Smith and Ainsley Davies.

Hobbs and Shaw hit theaters Aug. 2, 2019.

Kevin Hart made his first appearance last night in Los Angeles at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards after a long recovery from a nearly-fatal car crash.

The American comedian and actor fractured his spine in September of this year. Hart later began intensive physical therapy following the incident.

On Sunday (Nov. 10) the father of three took to the stage at the ceremony to accept The Comedy Act Of 2019 award.

“First and foremost thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here,” Hart said. “Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life more. It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. I want to thank my wife and my kids. They really stepped up for me.”

The comedian who attended the event with wife Eniko Parrish, 35, and his daughter Heaven Hart, 14 added:

“I also want to take the time to thank the People’s Choice Awards, just for this. This is amazing. But more importantly, the people, man. You have no idea the effect that you have on us as entertainers. Your energy, your support, it means the world and I truly want to thank you guys for being there for me in my difficult time. This is special. They all are. I do not take them for granted. Thank you so much. God bless everyone in this room. Peace.”

Donald Trump Jr. has publicly displayed his support for Kanye West’s new Christian album, Jesus is King via Twitter while simultaneously firing shots at the “Leftists.”

“Kanye is ‘cracking the culture code,” the politician asserted. “Jesus Is King is the ‘epitome of fearless creativity and “dangerous, unapproved” ideas,” he added.

He then slammed The Democratic Party for silencing “those who are speaking truth.”

Although Mr. West has made previous claims of being a reformed MAGA supporter, leaving politics beneath his tight-knit Yeezy’s. Perhaps, Trump Jr. will persuade the indecisive rapper to join forces with the red hat clan once more.

West, 42, has not yet responded. See the tweet below.
