21 Savage’s legal team has come forward and accused ICE of arresting the rapper in response to his newly-released record that slams the agency’s policies.

“Been through some things so I can’t imagine my kids stuck at the border / Flint still need water / People was innocent, couldn’t get lawyers,” the lyrics red.

21 Savage’s  legal team has claimed ICE’s actions as an infraction is a civil law violation and is demanding he be released.

21 Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is a British national who entered in to United States illegally after his nonimmigrant visa expired in 2006, when the rapper was a minor.

The immigration firm Kuck Baxter  released a statement on behalf of 21 Savage’s, saying he was detained “based upon incorrect information about prior criminal charges and now [ICE is] refusing to release him on bond of any amount, despite the fact that he has a pending U-Visa application (as the victim of crime) with USCIS.”
