Ouch! Tyler, The Creator’s London pop-up show cancelled, but here’s why

Daniel Boczarski/Redferns

Its been a great week for Tyler, The Creator following the successful release of his latest album IGOR. In celebration of the hip-hop star’s new body of work, he took to Twitter to announce a surprise, pop-up show in London for his devoted fans.

The anticipated performance would have marked Tyler’s first gig in the U.K. in four years. The London stop was unfortunately canceled for reportedly being “too rowdy.”

Back in 2015, Tyler was banned by Britain’s Home Office from entering over his controversial music content, as they believe it “foster[s] hatred with views that seek to provoke others to terrorist acts.”

Shortly after he dropped the news with an image of himself posted in front of Buckingham Palace, wearing the same blonde wig from his “EARFQUAKE” video, he revealed a new location is in the works and would be announced at a later date.

Stream Tyler, The Creator’s new IGOR album below.
