China quarantines 11 million over Mutating Virus

The Chinese government has imposed a quarantine on the city of Wuhan as a fatal virus associated with that city continues to spread throughout the world.

The city is at the epicenter of a coronavirus outbreak that has killed 17 people and sickened at least 500 more. Reports of the disease have popped up in the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and elsewhere.

Numerous countries have warned citizens to avoid travel to Wuhan. Chinese officials are facing intense scrutiny over claims that health authorities knew the extent of the disease but attempted to cover it up as the threat grew.

The Chinese government promised that any public officials who participate in any cover-ups of the disease would be “nailed on the pillar of shame for eternity.”

UPDATED: Kobe Bryant dead at 41; daughter Gianna Maria also killed

According to TMZ, Kobe Bryant has reportedly died from a fatal helicopter crash in Calabasas Sunday morning.

Kobe, 41, was traveling with at least 3 other passengers in his private helicopter before the plane crashed, sparking a fire.

The outlet confirmed with emergency personnel that their are no survivors left behind. Five people are confirmed dead, not including his wife Vanessa Bryant.

5-time NBA champion is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters — Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and their newborn Capri.

Per TMZ:

Kobe’s daughter Gianna Maria Onore — aka GiGi — was also on board the helicopter and died in the crash … reps for Kobe tell TMZ Sports. She was 13.

We’re told they were on their way to the Mamba Academy for a basketball practice when the crash occurred. The Academy is in nearby Thousand Oaks.

2 dead, 15 hurt in Kansas City, Mo. bar shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that happened outside a bar in Kansas City, Missouri, just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Kansas City police reported a man and a woman have died at the scene. Officers said there were approximately 15 other victims at local hospitals. According to police, at least three people were in critical condition.

The incident occurred at the 9ine Ultra Lounge.

Police said a line had formed to get into the bar when the male suspect started shooting into the line of people.

Police said they believe the man who died is the gunman. Officers said the shooter was stopped by an armed security guard.

The motive for the shooting wasn’t immediately clear, authorities said.

Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas reacted to the shooting saying, “Our greatest challenges remain even this morning in our community. My thoughts are with the families and friends of those whose lives were lost or impacted by last night’s mass shooting. Thankful security appears to have kept the situation from being even worse.”

Juice Wrld Dead at 21 after suffering a Seizure

US rapper Juice Wrld, 21, has reportedly passed away after suffering a seizure in Chicago’s Midway airport, according to a report from TMZ.

Juice’s flight from Cali landed early Sunday morning, and after deplaning … witnesses tell us he suffered the seizure while walking through the airport. Law enforcement sources say he was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics got on scene.

Wrld––Jarad Anthony Higgins was said to have been conscious when rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital. The cause of death is unclear at this time.
